FTC Update

Recently the FTC issued guidelines for bloggers and new media outlets similar to the guidelines for radio and TV. I am in the process of updating my site where I have ads or may have endorsed a service or product.

In general, if it looks like an ad on Beat-Tuition, it's an ad (such as the Ads by Google, and the Simple Tuition banners). I either have received a payment to place it on my site or I will if a visitor clicks on it or registers after clicking, depending on the ad. Not all endorsements are ads, however.

I haven't received any product, but I do endorse sites and products occasionally. For some of these I have been paid or could be if a visitor completes a registration, and for many I have not.
